Responsibilities
- Process and verify high-volume invoices for accuracy and completeness.
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
- Manage the accounts payable ledger and ensure all payments are made according to payment terms.
- Communicate effectively with vendors regarding billing issues and status updates.
- Assist in month-end and year-end closing processes and financial reporting.
- Maintain organized digital and physical filing systems for all documentation.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate degree in Accounting or Finance preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in Accounts Payable.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, or NetSuite) and Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP).
- Strong attention to detail and exceptional organizational skills.
- Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
