Responsibilities
- Process and verify incoming invoices for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with company policies.
- Enter invoice data into the accounting system (SAP/Oracle) with a high degree of precision.
- Reconcile vendor statements and investigate discrepancies to resolve outstanding balances.
- Prepare and issue payments to vendors via checks or electronic transfers (ACH) within established deadlines.
- Maintain organized digital and physical filing systems for all financial documents.
- Assist with month-end closing procedures and ad-hoc accounting reports as needed.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED is required.
- Basic computer literacy and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to spot errors in data.
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Effective communication skills and a professional work ethic.
- Willingness to learn accounting software and internal processes.
