Responsibilities
- Review and verify invoices for accuracy, completeness, and authorization before processing.
- Enter invoice data into our accounting software (QuickBooks/SAP) with a high degree of accuracy.
- Communicate with vendors to resolve billing discrepancies and payment inquiries.
- Prepare weekly and monthly payment runs for management approval.
- Reconcile accounts payable ledgers to ensure balances match bank statements.
- File and maintain organized physical and digital records of financial documents.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required; Associate degree in Accounting or Finance is a plus.
- Previous experience in an office environment is preferred but not required for this entry-level role.
- Basic computer literacy and familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
- Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
