Responsibilities
- Review and process incoming invoices for accuracy and completeness before payment.
- Verify invoice details against purchase orders and contracts to ensure compliance.
- Prepare and issue payments to vendors via check, ACH, or wire transfer.
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve any billing discrepancies or inquiries.
- Assist with month-end close procedures and journal entries as needed.
- Maintain organized digital and physical files for all AP transactions.
- Utilize accounting software (QuickBooks/NetSuite) to track and record financial data.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required (Associate's degree preferred but not mandatory).
- Basic computer literacy with a focus on Microsoft Excel and Word.
- Strong attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy in data entry.
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Clear communication skills for interacting with vendors and internal teams.
- Willingness to undergo training and learn new accounting software systems.
