Responsibilities
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable invoices accurately and within the specified timeframes.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card statements to ensure all transactions are accounted for.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly financial reports, balance sheets, and general ledgers.
- Maintain and organize physical and digital financial files, records, and archives.
- Assist with payroll processing and data entry to ensure employee compensation is accurate.
- Perform basic auditing tasks and verify the accuracy of financial data.
- Communicate with vendors and clients regarding billing inquiries and payments.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration is preferred.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in accounting, bookkeeping, or a related financial role.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel (vlookup, pivot tables, etc.) is required.
- Experience with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, Sage) is a strong plus.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to detect errors in data.
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize multiple tasks effectively.
- Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision.
