Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting processes for 15-20 portfolio clients
- Prepare and analyze complex financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheets, Cash Flow)
- Lead month-end and year-end closing procedures with 98% accuracy
- Implement and optimize internal controls and compliance frameworks
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on strategic financial initiatives
- Mentor junior accountants using our proprietary cloud-based platform
- Conduct forensic accounting audits for high-risk accounts
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years public/private accounting experience
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks Online, NetSuite, and Excel
- Expertise in GAAP, SOX compliance, and multi-state tax regulations
- Proven track record of improving financial processes
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Strong remote work collaboration skills
- Active CPA license required
