Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end accounts payable processes for 500+ vendors using SAP and Oracle ERP systems
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve payment discrepancies within SLA
- Lead month-end closing activities for AP with zero tolerance for errors
- Develop and implement process improvements using robotic process automation tools
- Collaborate with procurement team to optimize early payment discount opportunities
- Ensure compliance with SOX controls and internal audit requirements
- Mentor junior AP specialists through training and performance reviews
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance or equivalent experience
- 5+ years in accounts payable with ERP system expertise (SAP/Oracle)
- Advanced proficiency in Excel with VLOOKUP, PivotTables, and macros
- Certified Accounts Payable Professional (CAPP) designation preferred
- Proven experience in AP process optimization and automation
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Experience managing remote teams and virtual collaboration tools
- Knowledge of sales tax regulations and 1099 processing
