Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day financial transactions, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Reconcile bank statements, credit card accounts, and general ledger accounts on a monthly basis.
- Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, ledgers, and reports.
- Assist in the preparation of quarterly and annual financial statements and audits.
- Process payroll assistance and verify employee expense reports.
- Utilize accounting software (QuickBooks, Sage) to track and categorize financial data.
- Communicate effectively with vendors and clients regarding invoices and payments.
Qualifications
- Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration (Bachelor's degree preferred).
- 1-3 years of experience in an accounting or bookkeeping role.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Experience with accounting software (QuickBooks Pro/Online preferred).
- Strong understanding of GAAP and basic accounting principles.
- Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and time management.
- Ability to work independently in a remote or hybrid setting.
