Responsibilities
- Analyze complex commercial loan applications and financial statements to assess creditworthiness
- Prepare detailed credit risk reports and recommendations for executive review
- Monitor existing loan portfolios for compliance and early risk identification
- Collaborate with relationship managers to structure optimal financing solutions
- Develop and maintain sophisticated financial models for stress testing scenarios
- Stay current with regulatory changes (FIRREA, Basel III) and implement compliance protocols
- Mentor junior analysts and contribute to process improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field (MBA preferred)
- 5+ years commercial credit analysis experience in financial services
- Advanced proficiency in Excel, SQL, and financial modeling software
- Credit Risk Management Professional (CRMP) or CFA designation
- Demonstrated success in underwriting $10M+ commercial transactions
- Strong understanding of agricultural and manufacturing industries
- Exceptional analytical skills with attention to detail
- Ability to communicate complex financial concepts to non-technical stakeholders
