Responsibilities
- Analyze complex financial statements, cash flows, and industry trends to assess creditworthiness
- Prepare detailed credit memoranda with risk mitigation recommendations
- Collaborate with relationship managers on loan structuring and approval processes
- Monitor existing loan portfolios for compliance and early risk detection
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with banking partners and clients
- Stay current with regulatory changes affecting commercial lending
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field (MBA preferred)
- 3+ years of commercial credit analysis experience in banking/lending
- Expertise in financial statement analysis and ratio interpretation
- Strong proficiency in Excel and credit underwriting software
- Deep understanding of SEC filings and GAAP principles
- Excellent written/verbal communication and presentation skills
- Proven ability to manage deadlines in a high-volume environment
