Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain accurate general ledger accounts and financial records.
- Process and verify accounts payable and receivable invoices and payments.
- Reconcile bank statements, credit card accounts, and general ledger accounts monthly.
- Prepare and distribute monthly financial reports and budget analyses.
- Assist in the preparation of annual audits, tax returns, and financial statements.
- Perform routine bookkeeping duties, including data entry and filing.
Qualifications
- Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Bachelor's degree preferred).
- 1-3 years of experience in accounting, bookkeeping, or a similar financial role.
- Proficiency with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, Xero) and MS Excel.
- Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to meet deadlines and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
