Responsibilities

  • Manage and maintain the general ledger, ensuring all journal entries are accurate and timely.
  • Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions, including verifying and recording invoices.
  • Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements, including balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and cash flow reports.
  • Reconcile bank statements, credit card accounts, and general ledger accounts on a monthly basis.
  • Assist in the preparation of quarterly and annual tax filings and compliance documentation.
  • Monitor budgets and provide variance analysis to management to support decision-making.
  • Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local financial regulations and company policies.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration is required.
  • Minimum of 2 years of progressive experience in general accounting or financial reporting.
