Responsibilities
- General Ledger Management: Monitor and reconcile general ledger accounts to ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
- Financial Reporting: Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, including balance sheets and income statements.
- Accounts Payable/Receivable: Process invoices, manage payments, and ensure timely collections from clients.
- Payroll Support: Assist in the monthly payroll process, ensuring all withholdings and deductions are calculated correctly.
- Compliance: Maintain up-to-date records of tax filings and regulatory compliance requirements.
- Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline accounting workflows and enhance data integrity.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Experience: 2+ years of professional accounting experience, preferably in a corporate environment.
- Software Proficiency: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, NetSuite).
- Attention to Detail: Strong ability to spot discrepancies and manage complex data sets with precision.
