Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements, balance sheets, and income reports
- Manage accounts payable/receivable and ensure timely processing of transactions
- Conduct bank reconciliations and maintain accurate general ledger records
- Assist with tax preparation, compliance, and financial audits
- Develop and implement financial controls to improve operational efficiency
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on budget forecasting and financial planning
- Utilize QuickBooks and ERP systems for financial data management
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 3+ years of progressive accounting experience in a corporate or public setting
- Proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and accounting software (SAP or Oracle experience a plus)
- Strong understanding of GAAP and IRS tax regulations
- Exceptional analytical skills with attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines and prioritize complex tasks
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
