Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting processes including accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and general ledger maintenance
- Prepare monthly financial statements, budgets, and variance analysis for leadership
- Ensure compliance with GAAP, IRS regulations, and internal controls
- Collaborate with auditors during annual reviews and implement corrective actions
- Analyze financial data to identify cost-saving opportunities and process improvements
- Oversee tax preparation filings and maintain accurate documentation
- Train junior staff on accounting software and best practices
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 3+ years of progressive accounting experience in public or corporate setting
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and ERP systems (e.g., SAP)
- Strong knowledge of GAAP, tax laws, and regulatory requirements
