Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
- Reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts to ensure accuracy and identify discrepancies.
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP standards.
- Assist in the preparation of federal, state, and local tax filings and ensure compliance with all regulations.
- Conduct internal audits and financial controls reviews to mitigate risk and improve efficiency.
- Collaborate with management to develop budgets, forecasts, and strategic financial plans.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2–3 years of professional accounting experience.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage) and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Strong understanding of GAAP principles and tax compliance regulations.
- Excellent analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.
