Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain accurate financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts on a monthly basis to ensure accuracy.
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with GAAP standards.
- Assist in the preparation of tax returns and financial audits as required.
- Process payroll and ensure all payroll-related documentation is up to date.
- Develop and monitor budgets and financial forecasts to support client business goals.
- Provide detailed financial reports to management and clients, highlighting variances and trends.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required.
- 2+ years of experience in accounting or a related financial role.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, Sage) and Microsoft Excel (PivotTables, VLOOKUP).
- Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation (optional, for client meetings).
