Responsibilities
- Manage Accounts: Handle day-to-day bookkeeping tasks including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Reconciliation: Perform monthly bank and credit card reconciliations to ensure all transactions are accurately recorded.
- Financial Reporting: Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Payroll Support: Process payroll entries and maintain accurate employee payroll records.
- Expense Management: Review and categorize expense reports and invoices for accuracy and compliance.
- Compliance: Ensure all bookkeeping practices comply with federal and state regulations.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years of professional bookkeeping experience.
- Software: Proficiency in QuickBooks Online (Xero experience is a plus).
- Education: Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.
- Skills: Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables) and other accounting software.
- Attributes: Strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to meet deadlines under pressure.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for client interaction.
