Responsibilities
- Assist with daily accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions.
- Perform data entry into accounting software and maintain organized digital and physical records.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card statements monthly.
- Support the month-end close process by preparing basic journal entries and reports.
- Respond to client inquiries regarding invoices and account status.
- Filing and organizing financial documents and receipts.
- Learn and utilize accounting software such as QuickBooks or Xero.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; associate degree in accounting or finance is a plus but not mandatory.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in numerical data.
- Basic computer proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word).
- Excellent organizational skills and time management abilities.
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn new accounting software.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team.
