Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle bookkeeping and accounts payable/receivable processes.
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with GAAP.
- Assist in the preparation of tax returns and ensure all filings are accurate and timely.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts to ensure data integrity.
- Process payroll and ensure all deductions and withholdings are calculated correctly.
- Communicate complex financial information to clients and internal stakeholders in a clear manner.
- Maintain and organize financial records, ledgers, and archives.
Qualifications
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (required).
- Minimum of 2-3 years of professional accounting experience (preferred).
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, Sage) and Microsoft Excel (Advanced functions).
- Strong understanding of GAAP and tax regulations.
- Attention to detail and the ability to detect errors in financial data.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
