Responsibilities
- General Ledger Management: Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts to ensure financial accuracy.
- Financial Reporting: Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for management review.
- Bank Reconciliation: Perform monthly reconciliations of bank statements and credit card accounts.
- Accounts Payable & Receivable: Process invoices, manage vendor payments, and track accounts receivable.
- Payroll Support: Assist in the calculation and processing of payroll to ensure compliance with federal and state laws.
- Tax Preparation: Support the preparation of local, state, and federal tax returns.
- Compliance: Ensure all financial practices adhere to GAAP and internal controls.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required.
- Certifications: CPA or CMA preferred; equivalent experience will be considered.
- Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years of progressively responsible accounting experience.
- Software Proficiency: Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables), and MS Office Suite.
- Attention to Detail: Strong ability to spot discrepancies and ensure 100% accuracy in data entry.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
