Responsibilities

- Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts on a monthly basis to maintain financial integrity.
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements, including income statements and balance sheets.
- Assist in the preparation of quarterly and annual tax filings and local government reports.
- Maintain the general ledger and perform month-end close procedures efficiently.
- Process payroll and handle employee expense reports with precision.
- Collaborate with the finance team to develop budgets and track financial performance metrics.
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local financial regulations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 2-4 years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in a corporate environment.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero) and advanced Excel skills.
- Strong working knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards.
- Excellent analytical skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced setting.
