Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting processes including AP/AR, payroll, and month-end closings
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, balance sheets, and cash flow reports
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and IRS regulations for all client accounts
- Oversee bookkeeping operations using QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel
- Conduct audits and implement internal controls to prevent financial discrepancies
- Collaborate with tax professionals to optimize financial strategies
- Provide financial insights to support client business decisions
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 3+ years of hands-on accounting experience
- Proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and accounting software
- CPA certification or equivalent professional designation preferred
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Experience with multi-state tax compliance
- Excellent communication and client management abilities
- Ability to work independently in a contract role
