Responsibilities
- Execute full-cycle accounting tasks including month-end closes, reconciliations, and journal entries
- Process payroll and manage accounts receivable/payable during weekend operations
- Generate and analyze financial statements for executive review
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and IRS regulations for weekend transaction processing
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize weekend financial workflows
- Implement and maintain internal controls for weekend accounting activities
- Prepare weekend financial reports for Monday morning leadership meetings
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA preferred)
- 3+ years of hands-on accounting experience
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, SAP, and Microsoft Excel
- Proven ability to meet strict weekend deadlines without supervision
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Experience with multi-state tax compliance
- Excellent communication skills for weekend stakeholder interactions
- Ability to work independently in a weekend-shift environment
