Responsibilities
- Execute month-end closing procedures and reconcile accounts on Saturdays
- Process payroll transactions and ensure compliance with federal/state regulations
- Analyze financial data and prepare weekend-specific financial reports
- Manage accounts payable/receivable cycles with weekend deadlines
- Assist with quarterly audits and tax preparation documentation
- Implement and maintain internal financial controls
- Collaborate with weekday team on seamless financial operations
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required
- 3+ years of accounting experience with weekend/holiday shift exposure
- CPA certification or actively pursuing preferred
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and accounting software
- Deep knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards
- Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- Strong communication skills for cross-team coordination
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
