Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations including general ledger maintenance, month-end closing, and financial reporting
- Prepare and analyze financial statements ensuring GAAP compliance and accuracy
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable processes and reconcile bank accounts
- Assist with tax preparation and audits while maintaining documentation
- Implement process improvements to enhance financial efficiency
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on budgeting and forecasting initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience with public/private sector exposure
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and accounting software
- Demonstrated expertise in financial reporting and reconciliation processes
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
