Responsibilities
- Manage and reconcile bank statements, credit card transactions, and general ledger accounts on a weekly basis.
- Process weekly payroll and accounts payable transactions with a high degree of accuracy.
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial reports and variance analyses for leadership review.
- Ensure compliance with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) and company policies.
- Assist in the preparation of quarterly and annual audits.
- Maintain and update fixed asset registers and inventory records.
- Collaborate with the finance team to resolve discrepancies and optimize financial workflows.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required.
- 2+ years of professional accounting experience, preferably in a corporate or high-volume environment.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero) and advanced Excel skills.
- Strong knowledge of tax regulations and financial reporting standards.
- Must be available to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday) consistently.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation is a plus but not mandatory.
