Responsibilities
- Manage month-end closing processes including journal entries, reconciliations, and financial reporting
- Process payroll and vendor payments with precision and timeliness
- Analyze financial data to identify trends, risks, and optimization opportunities
- Maintain compliance with GAAP, SOX, and industry-specific regulations
- Support audit preparation and documentation requests
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on budgeting and forecasting initiatives
- Implement process improvements for weekend financial operations
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA/MBA preferred)
- Minimum 3 years of hands-on accounting experience
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and ERP systems
- Demonstrated knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards
- Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- Strong communication skills for stakeholder interactions
- Proven ability to work independently in a weekend shift environment
- Experience with multi-entity accounting a plus
