Responsibilities
- Manage the general ledger, ensuring all transactions are recorded accurately and timely.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, including balance sheets and income statements.
- Perform bank reconciliations and resolve any discrepancies.
- Assist with the preparation of federal and state tax filings and ensure compliance with GAAP standards.
- Process accounts payable and receivable, maintaining accurate vendor and customer records.
- Conduct internal audits and provide recommendations for process improvements.
- Collaborate with the finance team to develop and monitor budgets.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required.
- 3-5 years of progressive experience in general accounting is preferred.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage) and MS Excel (advanced functions required).
- Strong understanding of financial reporting, GAAP, and tax regulations.
- Excellent analytical skills with a high degree of attention to detail.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
