Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee the full cycle of accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in strict accordance with GAAP standards.
- Perform month-end and year-end close procedures efficiently and accurately.
- Assist in the preparation of tax returns and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
- Reconcile bank statements and resolve discrepancies promptly.
- Conduct internal audits and implement controls to safeguard company assets.
- Collaborate with the management team to forecast budgets and track financial performance.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of professional accounting experience is preferred.
- Certification (CPA, CMA, or ACCA) is a strong plus but not mandatory for immediate consideration.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage) and advanced Excel skills.
- Strong understanding of financial reporting, auditing, and regulatory compliance.
- Excellent analytical thinking, problem-solving skills, and high attention to detail.
- Ability to communicate complex financial data clearly to non-financial stakeholders.
