Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee the full-cycle accounting process, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger maintenance.
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with GAAP and local regulations.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts to ensure accuracy and resolve discrepancies promptly.
- Assist with the preparation of tax returns and ensure timely filing to avoid penalties.
- Conduct internal audits and financial reviews to identify areas for process improvement and cost reduction.
- Collaborate with the finance team to forecast budgets and monitor financial performance against targets.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 3+ years of professional accounting experience.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Certified Management Accountant (CMA) certification is highly preferred.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero) and advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP).
- Strong understanding of US tax laws and financial reporting standards.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
