Responsibilities
- Manage daily financial transactions, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
- Ensure strict compliance with federal, state, and local tax laws and regulations.
- Perform monthly bank reconciliations and resolve any discrepancies.
- Assist in the preparation of audit schedules and supporting documentation.
- Collaborate with the finance team to optimize cash flow and reporting accuracy.
- Update and maintain the company’s fixed asset register.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration required.
- CPA certification or CPA candidacy is highly preferred.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive accounting experience.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks, Sage, or Xero accounting software.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP) and ERP systems.
- Excellent analytical skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
