Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain accurate financial records, ledgers, and journals in accordance with GAAP.
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for internal review and external auditing.
- Assist with the preparation of federal, state, and local tax returns, ensuring all deadlines are met.
- Conduct bank reconciliations and expense report audits to ensure financial integrity.
- Collaborate with the finance team to improve budgeting processes and financial forecasting.
- Process accounts payable and receivable transactions efficiently using accounting software.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required; CPA certification preferred.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in general accounting or bookkeeping.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables) and accounting software (QuickBooks, SAP, or NetSuite).
- Strong understanding of financial regulations, compliance standards, and auditing practices.
- Excellent attention to detail with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
