Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation and maintenance of general ledger accounts and monthly financial statements.
- Process and verify accounts payable and receivable invoices with high accuracy.
- Perform daily bank reconciliations and credit card statement reviews.
- Support the month-end and year-end closing processes under the guidance of senior staff.
- Organize and maintain accurate physical and digital filing systems for audit compliance.
- Utilize accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks) to input data and generate reports.
- Conduct basic data analysis to identify discrepancies and ensure financial integrity.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and exceptional organizational skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel (formulas and formatting a plus).
- Basic understanding of accounting principles (coursework or self-study is acceptable).
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills for reporting purposes.
