Responsibilities
- Manage daily accounting operations, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements, balance sheets, and income statements.
- Perform monthly bank reconciliations and credit card statements.
- Assist with the monthly and annual financial close processes.
- Ensure strict compliance with GAAP and local financial regulations.
- Prepare and file quarterly and annual tax reports.
- Support the finance department with budget preparation and variance analysis.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- CPA certification or equivalent professional experience is highly preferred.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in general accounting.
- Proficient in accounting software (QuickBooks, Sage) and advanced MS Excel skills.
- Strong analytical skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Ability to meet deadlines in a high-volume environment.
