Responsibilities
- Prepare and maintain general ledger accounts, journal entries, and financial statements (Balance Sheet, P&L) in accordance with GAAP.
- Manage and reconcile accounts payable and accounts receivable, ensuring all transactions are accurate and timely.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for management and stakeholders.
- Process payroll entries and ensure proper tax compliance and reporting.
- Conduct internal audits of financial records to ensure data integrity and internal controls.
- Collaborate with external auditors during year-end audits and tax filings.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA preferred but not required).
- Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive accounting experience.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage) and advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP).
- Strong understanding of financial reporting, budgeting, and GAAP principles.
- Detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
