Responsibilities
- Prepare, analyze, and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
- Manage and reconcile general ledger accounts, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Assist in the preparation of quarterly and annual tax returns, working closely with external auditors.
- Monitor budget vs. actuals and provide variance analysis to management.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local financial and legal requirements.
- Streamline accounting processes and improve data accuracy using ERP software.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA certification is a plus).
- Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive accounting experience.
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, or NetSuite) and advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Strong understanding of GAAP principles and financial reporting standards.
- Excellent analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
