Responsibilities
- Prepare and examine financial statements to ensure accuracy and full compliance with GAAP.
- Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable and receivable processing.
- Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reconciliations for various accounts.
- Assist in the preparation of federal, state, and local tax returns and filings.
- Utilize QuickBooks and Excel to generate detailed financial reports for management review.
- Maintain the general ledger and ensure all entries are up to date and accurate.
- Collaborate with the finance team to improve financial processes and reporting.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in general accounting or bookkeeping.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA preferred but not required).
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage) and MS Office Suite.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Macros).
- Excellent analytical skills with a strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and meet strict deadlines in a busy environment.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
