Responsibilities
- Manage General Ledger: Oversee daily accounting operations, ensuring accuracy in the general ledger and financial statements.
- Financial Reporting: Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for stakeholders.
- Reconciliation: Perform bank reconciliations and account reconciliations to ensure all transactions are accounted for.
- Tax Compliance: Assist in the preparation of tax returns and ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
- Accounts Payable/Receivable: Process invoices, manage payments, and track receivables efficiently.
- Audit Support: Provide necessary documentation and support during internal and external audits.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.
- Experience: 2+ years of professional accounting experience.
- Certification: CPA preferred, but candidates with equivalent experience and strong skills will be considered for this urgent role.
- Software Proficiency: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP) and QuickBooks or Sage.
