Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with GAAP standards
- Manage accounts payable/receivable, general ledger entries, and month-end closing processes
- Conduct reconciliations for bank accounts, credit cards, and investment portfolios
- Develop and implement efficient accounting systems to enhance financial reporting
- Collaborate with cross-departmental teams to support budgeting and forecasting initiatives
- Ensure timely tax filings and maintain meticulous financial documentation
- Mentor junior accounting staff and contribute to process improvement projects
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required
- 3+ years of hands-on accounting experience with proficiency in QuickBooks and Excel
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation preferred
- Expert knowledge of GAAP, tax regulations, and financial reporting standards
- Exceptional analytical skills with meticulous attention to detail
