Role Overview:
In this pivotal role, you will oversee our financial reporting, manage accounts payable and receivable, and ensure compliance with state and federal regulations. If you are an accounting professional looking for a stable career with immediate financial flexibility, this is your opportunity.
Responsibilities
- Manage daily financial transactions, including accounts payable and receivable, ensuring accuracy and timely processing.
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with GAAP standards.
- Process payroll with our daily pay system, ensuring all employee data is accurate and deductions are correct.
- Assist in the preparation of tax filings and tax updates for the organization.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts to identify discrepancies and resolve issues.
- Maintain and organize financial records, ledgers, and spreadsheets using QuickBooks and Excel.
- Collaborate with the management team to provide financial insights and budget recommendations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting or a similar financial role.
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Sage) and advanced MS Excel skills.
- Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
- Excellent attention to detail and strong analytical problem-solving skills.
- Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States.
