Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations including month-end close, reconciliations, and financial reporting
- Lead financial audits and compliance initiatives ensuring adherence to GAAP and SEC regulations
- Analyze financial data to identify trends, risks, and optimization opportunities
- Develop and maintain robust internal controls and documentation systems
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support strategic financial planning
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable processes and payroll coordination
- Prepare executive dashboards and variance analysis for leadership review
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public/private sectors
- Expertise in GAAP, SOX compliance, and financial reporting standards
- Advanced proficiency in accounting software (NetSuite, QuickBooks) and Excel
- Strong analytical skills with experience in financial modeling and forecasting
- Excellent communication abilities for stakeholder reporting and presentations
- Proven track record of process improvement and cost optimization
