Responsibilities
- Manage Daily Transactions: Accurately record daily financial activities, including accounts payable and receivable entries.
- Bank Reconciliation: Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts monthly to ensure accuracy.
- Financial Reporting: Assist in preparing basic financial reports and maintaining general ledger accounts.
- Invoice Processing: Process and verify invoices, ensuring compliance with company policies and terms.
- Record Keeping: Maintain organized and up-to-date digital and physical financial records.
- Payroll Support: Assist the finance department with payroll processing and data verification.
- Compliance: Ensure all bookkeeping practices adhere to federal and state financial regulations.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED required; Associate degree in Accounting or Finance is a plus.
- Experience: No prior professional experience required; we are looking for entry-level candidates.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel. Familiarity with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero) is highly desirable.
