Responsibilities
- Manage the month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of financial statements.
- Perform complex account reconciliations for bank accounts, credit cards, and intercompany accounts.
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial reports, variance analysis, and supporting schedules for management review.
- Assist with external audits and internal control implementations to ensure compliance with GAAP and local regulations.
- Support the budgeting and forecasting process by providing accurate financial data and insights.
- Maintain and update fixed asset registers and depreciation schedules.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve accounting discrepancies and process improvements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA or CMA preferred).
- 3-5 years of progressive experience in corporate accounting or public accounting.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, v-lookups) and accounting software (QuickBooks, NetSuite, or Sage).
- Excellent understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
- Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines in a high-volume environment.
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
