Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain the general ledger, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports.
- Reconcile bank accounts and prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual reconciliations.
- Assist in the preparation of tax filings and ensure timely submission to relevant authorities.
- Process accounts payable and receivable, verifying and coding invoices accurately.
- Conduct internal audits to identify discrepancies and recommend process improvements.
- Collaborate with the finance team to forecast budgets and manage financial risks.
Qualifications
- Associate’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Bachelor’s degree preferred).
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in accounting or bookkeeping.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, Sage) and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel required).
- Strong understanding of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles).
- Excellent attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
- Ability to meet tight deadlines and manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
