Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee daily bookkeeping operations, including accounts payable and receivable.
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
- Perform regular bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies promptly.
- Assist in the preparation of tax filings and ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
- Conduct internal audits to improve financial processes and accuracy.
- Assist the Finance Manager with budget planning and forecasting.
- Maintain accurate digital and physical records of all financial transactions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 3+ years of professional accounting experience.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Certified Management Accountant (CMA) preferred.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero) and advanced Excel skills.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and tax regulations.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines.
