Responsibilities
- Manage the end-to-end accounting process for the weekend period, including bank reconciliations and journal entries.
- Prepare and review financial statements to ensure they are accurate and compliant with regulatory standards.
- Process and verify accounts payable and receivable transactions.
- Assist the finance team with month-end closing procedures and year-end audits.
- Identify and resolve discrepancies in financial data with a focus on operational efficiency.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 3+ years of progressive accounting experience, preferably within a corporate environment.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage) and MS Excel (pivot tables, v-lookups).
- Strong knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
- Must be available to work Friday through Sunday.
