We are looking for a candidate who can interpret financial data to assess credit risk and make informed lending decisions.
Responsibilities
- Review and analyze credit applications, financial statements, and tax returns to determine creditworthiness.
- Assess borrower's ability to repay loans by evaluating cash flow, debt ratios, and collateral.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date credit files and loan documentation in our internal system.
- Generate and present regular credit reports and recommendations to the underwriting team.
- Monitor accounts for signs of financial distress and proactively manage delinquent accounts.
- Collaborate with sales and relationship managers to provide credit support.
- Ensure compliance with all federal and state banking regulations and internal policies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in credit analysis, underwriting, or financial analysis.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Attention to detail and the ability to meet tight deadlines.
- Familiarity with banking software or loan origination systems is a plus.
