Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive credit risk assessments on loan applications and corporate credit lines.
- Analyze financial statements, tax returns, and credit reports to determine creditworthiness.
- Prepare and present credit memos and risk analysis reports to senior management.
- Monitor and update customer credit files to reflect changes in financial status.
- Collaborate with the sales team to provide guidance on credit policies and approval limits.
- Identify trends in the credit market and recommend adjustments to underwriting guidelines.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
- 2+ years of professional experience in credit analysis or financial underwriting.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Macros).
- Deep understanding of GAAP and financial statement analysis.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently while meeting tight deadlines.
