Responsibilities
- Analyze financial statements and credit data to assess borrower risk
- Prepare detailed credit reports and recommend lending decisions
- Monitor existing loan portfolios for compliance and risk exposure
- Collaborate with commercial lenders to structure optimal financing solutions
- Stay updated on industry regulations and economic trends
- Document credit files according to internal policies and regulatory requirements
- Present credit recommendations to credit committee when required
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
- 3+ years of credit analysis or commercial lending experience
- Proficiency in financial modeling and Excel (VLOOKUP, PivotTables)
- Strong understanding of GAAP and credit assessment frameworks
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Effective communication and presentation skills
- Familiarity with credit reporting software (e.g., Moody's Analytics)
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
